Elegant table set consisting of 12 round coasters (or small cocktail doilies), entirely handmade and embroidered in pure white linen fabric with a dense and durable weave.
Estimated period: mid-20th century.
The cutwork (Richelieu) enhances its dense and openwork scalloped border, while the satin stitch and stem stitch finish the petals and botanical details with exceptional precision.
The embroidery, predominantly white, is embellished with delicate colored inserts in pastel shades.
