The decoration is a triumphant composition of floral and geometric motifs covering most of the surface.
The workmanship, entirely done by hand, alternates several techniques:
cutwork and raised embroidery, splendid flower baskets and baroque scrolls that give three-dimensionality to the fabric;
Venetian stitch and net patterns that create a play of transparencies and solid-empty spaces of incredible lightness;
openwork geometric motifs that frame the central embroideries and the edges ;
peripheral finishes executed with openwork hems and scalloped edges.
